For the past several years, Bagh Sanrakshan Evam Grameen Vikas Samiti has been fully dedicated to environmental conservation and sustainable rural development in the Ranthambore region. Over time, we observed that the forests of Ranthambore were gradually shrinking due to excessive tree cutting, increasing human pressure, and unsustainable use of natural resources. This alarming situation posed a serious threat not only to the greenery of the region but also to the wildlife that depends on these forests for survival.

Recognizing the urgency of this issue, our organization took a strong stand by initiating large-scale reforestation and conservation efforts. Our mission was not just to plant trees, but to restore ecological balance and protect the natural heritage of Ranthambore. Over the past 10 years, we have planted thousands of saplings across forest buffer zones, nearby villages, and open community lands. These plantations are carefully selected native species that support local biodiversity and provide food and shelter to birds, deer, and other wild animals. Our team ensures regular monitoring and maintenance so that these saplings grow into strong and sustainable forests.

Ranthambore Reforestation Programme

Ranthambore is one of the most unique ecological regions in Rajasthan. Its rich greenery, diverse flora and fauna, and harmonious wildlife ecosystem make it truly exceptional. The balance between forest cover and wildlife is what makes this region so special. However, without collective responsibility and continuous conservation efforts, this balance can easily be disturbed. Our organization believes that protecting Ranthambore is not only about saving trees—it is about safeguarding an entire ecosystem that supports countless living beings.

In addition to plantation drives, we actively conduct environmental awareness programs under our Reforestation Initiative. We regularly organize campaigns in schools and rural communities to educate children and youth about the importance of forests. We distribute plants to students and encourage them to take responsibility for nurturing them. Through workshops and interactive sessions, we explain the harmful effects of deforestation, climate change, soil erosion, and the loss of wildlife habitats. By involving young minds, we aim to build a generation that understands the true value of nature.

Community participation is at the heart of our mission. With the support of a large and passionate volunteer network, we organize cleanliness drives in forest-adjacent areas to reduce plastic waste and pollution. We also encourage villagers to adopt sustainable practices and reduce dependency on forest resources. Our belief is simple: when local communities become protectors of their environment, long-term conservation becomes possible.

At Bagh Sanrakshan Evam Grameen Vikas Samiti, our vision goes beyond planting trees. We strive to create a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable Ranthambore for future generations. We strongly believe that the responsibility of protecting nature lies with all of us. By nurturing awareness, encouraging participation, and restoring forests, we are working step by step toward a future where humans and wildlife coexist in harmony.

Together, we can ensure that the forests of Ranthambore remain vibrant, thriving, and full of life for generations to come. 🌿
